The Standing Mountain was established with the desire to step alongside the community both individually and collectively and provide supportive coaching, personal training, group exercise, educational and interactive wellness workshops, and community outreach in health and wellness areas important to the community. With the belief that we are in this life journey together nurturing relationships built on respect, belief in each other, inspiration, education, guidance, and acceptance, we can empower each other every minute, every hour, every day to flourish in every way.

Jennifer Davenport, founder and owner of The Standing Mountain, LLC, has a sincere commitment to the health and wellness of her community. With over 15 years in the health and fitness field, her love of learning is continuous and her desire to guide people to their optimal health is contagious. Her clients appreciate her love for life and dedication to their health.

Jennifer specializes in Health and Wellness Coaching, Functional Fitness, Balance and Stability, Brain Fitness, Water Aerobics, Cardio and Strength, Strength and Stretch, Personalized Nutrition, Walking Pole Power, Personal Training, Fitness Assessments, Fitness and Nutrition Education, Flexibility, Group Exercise, Injury Prevention, Fitness for Chronic Conditions, Mind-Body Fitness, Postrehab/Injury Recovery, Senior Fitness, Stress Management, Weight Management, Feeling Calmly Confident, Self-Talk Sanctified, Life Balance: Care-giving vs Self-Care, and Renew Your Life: Finding Your Purpose and Get It Done.

Jennifer's passion encompasses matching her wellness clients with their internal strength and a personalized plan of nutrition, movement, and motivation specifically tailored to each individual. She enjoys working with women but has a special place for older adults and the senior community transitioning into retirement providing compassion and a genuine interest in their well-being. Her motto, "Keep moving forward and keep adding to that bucket list." Her favorite memory this year was skydiving with one of her fitness members, Ray, who is 91.

Jennifer is a mother of three children and has a personal interest and heart for children affected by domestic violence and bullying, specifically emotional abuse. She is a former foster mom and currently volunteers in her community, leading and supporting young people with her local Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron. She is finishing up her first children's book supporting healthy relationships both at home and in school. Her debut novel, Kind Words, is projected to be released in the Fall of 2018.

Jennifer has a Masters Degree in Health Science, Community Health Education from the University of Arkansas and several certifications in the following areas: National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc: Certified Health Education Specialist; American College Sports Medicine: Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor; American Sport and Fitness Association: Water Aerobics Instructor; and WellCoaches, Inc: Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is a member of IDEAfit, is a SilverSneakers Instructor with Tivity Health, and of course is First Aid/CPR/AED certified.

Maximus Davenport, Chief Operating Officer, Director Of Administration

Maximus, Jennifer's middle son, has big dreams and is loyally by her side, supporting her any way he can. Max is a great cook, and loves to learn and teach radio communication skills. He has a great interest in yoga and Tai Chi. Max saw that his mom was starting The Standing Mountain business and said that he wanted to help. Max also loves music playing the baritone sax, cello, and piano. Max, like his mother, loves to volunteer his time and work with others. He volunteers his time at the Boys and Girls Club, Civil Air Patrol, Mt Miguel Covenant Village, and the US Forest Service.
